At the LACHSA Foundation, every act of generosity helps write the next chapter in a student artist’s story. Your support bridges the gap between public funding and what it takes to provide a world-class arts education at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA).
Why do we need your support? State funding only covers 50% of LACHSA’s arts education budget.
Without support from the Foundation and its donors, this public arts high school would not be able to exist — and not be able to provide the exemplary arts education that has impacted generations of LACHSA students. That means no state-of-the-art equipment in 5 arts departments, no teaching artists offering excellence in teaching in the arts, no master classes offering career beginning advice and real-world training, and so much more.
