Shedrack Anderson III is an African American actor, dancer, singer, entrepreneur, writer/director. He got his big break as a lost boy in the Steven Spielberg film “Hook”, he then starred in the NBC hit teen series Just Deal as the lovable Jermaine Green. He then became known to a world-wide audience with the success of The Fox production Fat Albert. He starred as Tommy in Lifetime’s Emmy Nominated Gracie’s Choice alongside Kristen Bell, Diane Ladd and Anne Heche. He also starred in Warriors of Virtue 2, Stompin’ and has guest starred on many television series including Boston Public, The Parkers, Hollywood Lives, Hip Hop Massive and The Division to name a few. Anderson was a recurring star on Disney’s hit show Phil of the Future. Anderson attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, where he was honored with the Ahmanson Scholarship. He was also ASB President and during his tenure helped to reshape the artistic diversity and cultural inclusion of the school. He was a presidential scholar honorable mention recipient and received the African American Emerging Artist of the Year Award from PBS. After high school, he attended the Juilliard School in New York, where he studied Dance and Music. He was a principal dancer of Ballet Hispanico of New York, Dance theatre of Brooklyn, Los Angeles Ballet, Ballet Pacifica and became an assistant choreographer for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Shedrack has directed seven Hollywood feature films and has been nominated for an ovation, prism, and an ensemble Emmy award. Shedrack wrote, directed, and stars in the film Blood River with fellow lost boy Dante Basco. He was also a lead in The Rookie, a spin-off of 24. Shedrack began his own production company in 1999 to produce his own films. He also is an acclaimed musician with multiple charting albums. He has been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC and countless other networks around the world. His dancing, music, tv shows and films projects have grossed over 485 million. Shedrack also is an acclaimed martial artist, junior Olympic champion with 16 national and state championship titles. In business Shedrack has thrived with multiple Pilates, Yoga and wellness studios in Los Angeles and Dallas and Sedona. He was a co-founder executive of Chilyo Skincare in partnership with Scapa Healthcare Worldwide.

Over the years, Shedrack has developed a passion for teaching and giving back to the community. As a part of the National Sports and Arts in Education, Jewish Community Center, USA boxing and Primeros Pasos programs, he has taught the Arts to over 350,000 disadvantaged children nationwide. He is a former Chairman of the Board for the North Texas Performing Arts Counsel. Shedrack frequently teaches on staff and Master classes at The Juilliard School, The Joffrey Ballet School, Texas Ballet Theatre School among many others. He is a master teacher and is on current staff of the Joffrey Ballet School.

He married Celebrity pilates instructor Kathryn Hunt Anderson in 2010 and has one daughter.
