Nate’Eya Kahsai

Development & Events Associate

Nate’Eya Kahsai is a nonprofit professional and advocate dedicated to advancing arts education and creating spaces where diverse voices can thrive.

As a child, Nate’Eya struggled with a debilitating stutter that suppressed her voice – until a teacher handed her a pen and said, “Write a poem.” That small act of encouragement revealed the power of the arts to unlock confidence, expression, and opportunity.

Building on that experience, Nate’Eya earned her degree in Film and Television at UCLA and went on to work across education, community programs, and arts organizations. She has supported classrooms as an instructional aide, collaborated with nonprofit partners to develop inclusive programming, and provided programmatic and administrative leadership to strengthen organizational impact.

With a career spanning arts education, program support, and nonprofit operations, Nate’Eya brings a deep commitment to equity, creativity, and access. Her work is guided by the belief that every young person deserves the tools and encouragement to discover their own voice – just as she did.
