Ileana Angelo

Ileana Angelo, Cuban-American photographer and humanitarian, has focused her life’s mission around uplifting youth in need through creativity and philanthropy. Angelo is the co-founder of nonprofit organization, Today I’m Brave, and serves as a board member for the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Today I’m Brave is dedicated to unlocking bravery, inspiring individuality and building self- confidence in today’s youth. She has helped raise awareness and funds for A21, a nonprofit that fights human trafficking and consistently partners with the Covenant House of California to create emergency backpacks for homeless teens. Before her work in philanthropy, Angelo began her career as an assistant photographer to renowned photographer, Steve Bronstein and worked on world famous campaigns for brands including Absolut. She attended FIT and was a graduate of The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Currently, Angelo resides between New York City and Los Angeles.
