Brandon exemplifies the fearless creative spirit of LACHSA grads. Since graduating in 1998, he has become an in-demand bassist for artists such as Benny Green, Robert Glasper, Terence Blanchard, Monty Alexander, and Lauryn Hill. He had this to say about LACHSA:
