Lisa is thrilled to be the Director of Development and Communications at the LACHSA Foundation. LACHSA is a very special place to her as it’s where her daughter got her film and TV training in the Cinematic Arts department – she was a member of the first graduating class from the major. She loves that she continues to be a part of the LACHSA family long after her daughter has graduated.

Lisa believes in making the high level of arts training offered at LACHSA accessible to all students and that arts education is essential in the creation of whole human beings with a greater sense of empathy.

Lisa has been in nonprofit development for over 15 years at American Film Institute, Make A Wish LA, Piece by Piece (a nonprofit microenterprise teaching those coming out of homelessness how to create mosaic art), and The Wonder of Reading. Lisa’s life focuses on her family and the arts, and she satisfies her personal creative itch through creative writing, acting, and singing.
